I've posted before about how, as a 2016 Bernie delegate, I came to support @ewarren this time around. I won't rehash that in detail here [link: ], mostly because I'm not sure my experience matters, and I'm pretty sure that it mostly shouldn't. ;-) 2/
That said, as an engaged NH voter who also happens to practice immigration law for a living, I have lived some of the most insidious effects of the current administration in an extremely personal way. 3/

Not surprisingly, this decision resulted from a combination of factors, but in early 2019, when I reflected as soberly as possible (largely putting aside emotion) & considered how things had changed since 2016, I decided that EW would be a more effective executive/manager. 2/
Since well before running for office, @ewarren has backed up her public rhetoric with strategic, effective action & advocacy. Her myriad plans show us not just where we should go, but provide detailed road maps of how we’ll get there. 3/
@ewarren was brilliant & #NeverthelessShePersisted fighting for democracy.
Our 3 branches of government are designed as checks & balances. If the Legislature has become too partisan, the Judiciary must protect norms of Justice in America. @teamwarren

@ewarren @TeamWarren Of course the Senators should do their jobs. @ewarren is doing her job asking these important questions in the Senate hearing, even as @teamwarren is campaigning with @IAforWarren. Yet this insightful question builds trust that she is the President America needs now. #GOTC
However, if tomorrow reaches a stalemate, and Chief Justice Roberts is put in the position of deciding to call witnesses, it makes us proud that @ewarren anticipated the situation and has put him on call.
All day today, I’ve been seeing the people sharing their support for @ewarren under the #AllOfUs4Warren banner, and it’s been incredible. Officials and activists and people who just know that now’s the time when they need to speak up and stand up.
I’ve been supporting Warren since August — and I challenge her when I think it’s needed. At the end of each day, though, I come back to my fundamental belief: Elizabeth Warren is the person best-suited to sit in the Oval Office after Donald Trump.
But seeing the #AllOfUs4Warren tweets helped me connect with what I feel, not just think, about @ewarren’s campaign. Its spirit is the spirit that animated my one & only big personal campaign—for student body president at @AmericanU back in 1997. My slogan: It’s about All of Us. 
THREAD: The term “electable” is dumb. I watched my hero Howard Dean lose to an “electable” candidate. Mondale, Dukakis, Gore, and Kerry were “electable." They all lost. Obama excited people. And they showed up. You know who else excites people? @ewarren. #AllOfUs4Warren
It should be no surprise to anyone who follows me that I join #AllOfUs4Warren in endorsing @ewarren. I started covering her when I was at Upworthy. She had a habit of holding government officials accountable in senate hearings. She’d make senate hearings “go viral.”
She stumped Bank Regulators with common sense questions. #AllOfUs4Warren
The first time our collective (while not officially formed yet - that would come later) met @ewarren was in Philadelphia. During this deep conversation it became clear to all of us present that this was a different kind of candidate. #AllOfUs4Warren
@ewarren No topics were off limits. No questions were provided to the campaign ahead of time & no press there to cover the conversation. Just @ewarren ready to listen to what we had to say and to respond to our questions with deep thought & consideration. #AllOfUs4Warren
@ewarren In the months after this meeting @BlackWomxnFor held 14 meet-ups around the country, and a survey of over 500 Progressive Black Trans and Cis Women, GenderNon-conforming and Non-Binary folks, we collectively endorsed @ewarren with a list of asks she agree to. #AllOfUs4Warren
