Quizás la decisiĂłn de que sea la justicia federal se relacione por dos hechos (hemos escuchado en los supuestos audios) en los que intervendrĂa el Dr. Leopoldo Luque con otras personas. En el caso de la psiquiatra Agustina Cosachov podrĂa darse por el expendio de recetas.
La otra figura legal a investigar - si asĂ lo determina la fiscalĂa-, es la figura de “suministro gratuito de estupefacientes”. Recordemos que hasta el momento la autopsia no originĂł esa ingesta, pero se esperan resultados. Por más que no exista un pago, la ley 23.737, art. 5, e)

since 14 September when the outbreak "officially" began GEO has NOT tested any of its staff. I was just told that medical personnel were also not tested, then it changed that "some have been tested".

BREAKING: Adelanto Detention Center has now a #COVID19 outbreak. We heard yesterday that 32 ppl were in quarantine by noon. @ahilan_toolong & the @aclu team confirmed 38 case as of last night. This is after 300 new arrests were made by ICE in LA the last 50 days. Connect the dots

The chemical is called HDQ Neutral. According to the label, this toxic substance should only be used outside in well-ventilated areas. Not in cages.

Our attorney’s client visit happened to coincide with a #freethemall car procession outside of Adelanto that day (4.23). She arrived at 8am. She noticed a Telemundo van parked outside to cover the protests which started at 10am.

That day marked the 1st time ever she had seen any guards wearing PPE. She noted some were wearing homemade masks even though our attorneys were denied entry when they showed up in the ones our co-founder Nora Phillips made them. We were told masks had to be OSHA approved. 2/

GEO can’t cover up the truth. Detention is inhumane, unnecessary, and carries a shocking record of abuse and in-custody deaths. We’ve been visiting with impacted persons detained at #Adelanto since 2012. We know just how terrible this immigrant prison is.
