FT: Arsenal 3 Southampton 3. Two late goals rescue #AFC an astonishing point. It hands #MCFC a big title advantage. Arsenal will likely have to now win at the Etihad on April 26. But a tremendous fightback nonetheless despite the poor result in the bigger picture.
Arsenal naturally dejected at full-time. But the manner in which they came back at least gives them something positive to cling to ahead of #MCFC. But failing to beat the bottom side and move seven-clear, is nothing to celebrate and the final whistle scenes reflected that.
Southampton will also feel gutted. A win would have taken them off the bottom. It still might prove a valuable point for them in their fight against relegation. Really neither side will be happy with a draw, but it could have been worse for #AFC and title is still in their hands.

I rewatched Arsenal's win over Leicester. Here are some tactical and personnel points I noticed regarding #AFC's set-up.
Arsenal's main weapon was their aggressive man-to-man pressing. The front six were all tasked with going touch tight to Leicester's players, blocking off vertical lanes in an attempt to force the Foxes into playing long balls. Causing a high number of turnovers.
It was one of Arsenal's most assured defensive performances of the season. Restricting Leicester to just one shot. Gabriel was at the heart of this and was my man of the match. He has become so mature, much calmer and his physical presence makes him one of the league's best CBs

A few comments on the Arsenal performance vs Everton… #AFC #EFC 👇🏽
- Dyche beefed up his midfield by playing three physically strong ball winners in Gueye, Onana and Doucoure. Those three matched up against Xhaka, Partey and Ødegaard was no contest on winning second balls
