In February, nearly 2 million travelers arrived in the US from Italy & other European countries. Trump lied & said passengers from Italy, by then the global epicenter, were being screened. They weren’t. Trump’s failure CAUSED the disaster in NY, NJ & CT.
On February 26, the same day Mauricio Marchiori flew to NY from Milan (see previous tweet) and told @ABC News how surprised he was that he was allowed to enter the US without any screening, Trump said: “The 15, within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero.” 🤦♂️
