From October 29th through November 6th, I got 27 total emails. That’s exactly 3/per day, WAY above the 0.896/day average throughout all of 2018.

“Donald J. Trump” dominated the From field most of Oct. In the week before the midterms, they switched to a big mix of surrogates: Donald Trump Jr. (1st email of 2018), Eric Trump (8th), Melania Trump (5th), Lara Trump (23rd), Newt Gingrich (12th), & Brad Parscale (12th).
They had Fox on (closed caption but still 🤮) at the nail salon when I went yesterday for my pre-Election Day mani/pedi and since I endured the lunacy I figure I might as well share what I saw with y’all...
It was Chris Wallace’s show and the guests were Karl Rove, Juan Williams and a blonde whose name I didn’t catch. Topic of discussion was whether or not the GOP was making a mistake by making immigration their closing argument rather than the economy.
Of course Karl Rove was decidedly in the tank for unbridled xenophobia, but the blonde and Juan Williams were pretty certain that the Caravan is needless red meat that will certainly fire up the base but alienate Independents and GOP moderates (if they still exist).
Ignore the polls and get out there and #Vote on November 6th. Relying on polling is a relic of a time gone by.
I’m not saying looking at @FiveThirtyEight’s model and charts and stuff isn’t cool, because it is and provides some insight. But no matter what the numbers say, it’s most certainly NEVER an excuse to not #Vote because you feel your peeps are a “lock”
Need nothing further than to point to 2016. Which by the way, @FiveThirtyEight didn’t really have wrong, but the “selected not elected” mindset existed before 2016. Why else would over 100 million people choose NOT to participate in their civic duty to choose their leaders.

Why won’t #Obstruction charge work? Trump will argue he was legally trying to stop a #WitchHunt. That message will find a sympathetic audience w/ Rs & Indys.

Jurisdictions don't have 💰 or staff to buy new machines frequently or keep the ones they have up to date with security updates. There's no voting machine that can't be hacked. 2/10 nytimes.com/2018/02/21/mag…
