2022 has been incredibly tough. Almost lost my life to pneumonia. I recovered only to be diagnosed with severe anxiety later. What happens when life gives you lemons? You write. You write your way through pain and angst, despair and darkness with hope that you will be okay.
You write with hope that eventually everything will fall into place. 2022 was about that hope. Summing up the year with a list of essays, thinkpieces and features I wrote on films for @firstpost. Also, wrote features on worklife - moonlighting, quiet quitting for @moneycontrolcom

La batalla de los peldaños ya supera por mucho a todo lo visto en la primera temporada de GOT. También tenemos una de las mejores escenas de acción
individuales de toda la franquicia, la de Daemon luchando contra un ejercito de hombres y de flechas.

HBO has submitted Paddy Considine as King Viserys Targaryen, as well as Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen for the lead actor and actress in #HouseOfTheDragon for the upcoming Award Season.
Five supporting actors have been submitted for awards recognition: Fabien Frankel as Ser Criston Cole, Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower, Matthew Needham as Lord Larys Strong, Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen and Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon.

Finally done with #HouseoftheDragon and I gotta tell ya, there are many things about it that make me like it even more than GoT. Part of it is the single focus on one family, which is very Sopranos like. Other factors such as how the power revolves around two women who
had to fight so much to get what’s theirs. Performances: tremendous. As I’ve said before, all of them kick some serious ass, especially Matt Smith’s Daemon. Steals every scene. I will say, however, that Rhys Ifans’s Otto was marvelous. Emma D’Arcy kicks ass but i gotta say…
…Olivia Cooke. My god. What a performance. Killed it.
Great stuff. Can’t believe we have to wait so long. Filming doesn’t start till summer of next year 😭😭

Al final lo voy a hacer porque me apetece. La serie está genial en conjunto PERO en los últimos 3 capítulos para mi hay cosas que me cuesta mucho creerme que están en la misma serie que me hizo llorar con Viserys I

En el capítulo 8 que es una auténtica salvajada en cuantoa culminación y evolución de personajes y un homenaje interpretativo para Viserys NO me puedes terminar el capítulo con un lapsus y la confusión de Alicent sobre la profecía de Aegon.
El capítulo 9 es muy buen capítulo pero NO me puedes hacer esa entrada de Rhaenys haciendo un genocidio masivo y destruyendo el techo de un edificio más la amenaza de muerte a la familia verde y después decirme que ella no empieza guerras
